Pathlight HOME, founded in 1992, is Florida’s first and largest provider of the proven Housing First permanent supportive housing model. They currently provide more than 600 formerly-homeless Central Florida neighbors with permanent, affordable housing through two apartment complexes - Maxwell Terrace Apartments (3200 W Colonial Dr) and Maxwell Garden Apartments (4049 S. Orange Blossom Trail). Both locations include efficiency units and supportive services programs for adults who are chronically homeless, as well as units for those imminently homelessness. There are 3 case managed programs at Pathlight HOME: Safe Haven, Homes For New Beginnings, and Restore.
Volunteers are welcome to assist in the outdoor presentation of Maxwell Terrace and Maxwell Gardens. Tasks may include landscaping, outdoor cleaning and/or gardening. Maxwell Terrace specifically has space for a community garden. With the help of a few volunteers we can provide residents with a new hobby and some fresh produce!
