Are you a sensitive, caring listener with a passion for helping people affected by mental illness? Do you have experience with project management and coordination? NAMI San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley is looking for a reliable HelpLine Manager to provide oversight of the day-to-day activities for our NAMI HelpLine. The toll-free NAMI HelpLine allows caring facilitators to respond personally to hundreds of thousands of requests each year for free referrals, information, and support for individuals experiencing mental illness and their loved ones.

The HelpLine Manager will:

  • Manage, train, and schedule our HelpLine Facilitators
  • Oversee HelpLine call quality, responses, and report data on the HelpLine (# of calls, most common call types, call duration/handle time)
  • Evaluate and coach HelpLine calls and provide feedback to facilitators
  • *Reliable phone, computer, and internet access required
