Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation's largest volunteer-led grassroots organizations helping individuals affected by mental illness. At NAMI San Fernando Valley, we are proud to offer free support groups and educational programs to individuals and families affected by mental illness. We tirelessly fight stigma through our advocacy and outreach efforts. Not only do we offer people hope, we help them build better lives. Do you want to join us?

Do you have knowledge of Canva and can layout and design training manuals, presentations, flyers and other materials? Lend us your expertise! Projects are relatively simple and straightforward.

You will...

  • Creative & Graphic Design: Design marketing and advertising material. Proficient to advanced experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite. Focusing on Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro
  • Brainstorming possible concepts
  • Write, customize and release marketing content
  • Knowledge of digital design best practices

  • Paired up with a Relationship Manager whose sole responsibility is to be sure your volunteer experience is enjoyable
