KRM has an open Media Lab on Tuesdays and Thursday in which refugee clients can utilize and receive
guidance on technology available in our first floor computer lab. From 5:00-7:00pm, KRM and students at
the University of Louisville provide programming specifically for teens and young adults to improve
computer skills for college and career readiness. Many of KRM’s young adults do not have transport to
attend the Media Lab Workshop, but could greatly benefit from the social and technical skills provided in
the class. Volunteers enable students to attend by transporting students to/from the program. This
opportunity requires volunteers to be 18 years of age or older, punctual, and willing to use their own
vehicle in transporting the clients.
