Client using tablet

The Mitzvah Food Program Mainline pantry is seeking Russian speaking volunteers to assist with a growing population of Russian speaking older adults who are food insecure in the Mainline area of Philadelphia. Our clients use touchscreen tablets (think iPads) to order their groceries either in the pantry or remotely and we need some assistance to help walk new clients through the process and pack their orders. The pantry is open once a week of Thursdays from 1:30 - 3:30 pm but we recommend you arrive a little earlier to help set things up and get settled in. We help about 20 families a week but that number is growing, especially with clients who speak Russian.

We are located at the Jewish Family and Children Service's Brodsky building in Bala Cynwyd.
