Seeking volunteers (21+) to be matched as a Friend with an adult with disabilities (18+) in our MAGIC (Monthly Activity Groups in the Community) program that starts on Sunday, November 18, 2018, and meets for a couple of hours either one Sunday afternoon or evening per month with a year commitment. Matches meet one designated Sunday per month at a preassigned activity with other pairs of friends. Activities include cooking classes, karaoke nights, festive meals, or a local college sporting event. Most activities take place in Brookline, Brighton, Newton, Allston or Boston and are accessible by public transportation. MAGIC is a great way to spend time with your Friend, but also to connect with others in the program in a social way.
