One of the most beautiful aspects of Angelica Village is the meals we share throughout our community. In many cultures, sharing a meal is more than eating. It is a time of fellowship, catching up with family and friends, and most of all creating memories. Community Meal is a time when all members of our community come together - large community meals happen twice a week; Thursday and Saturday.
If have a passion to cook, we would love to share a meal with you! Volunteers are responsible for preparing and bringing the main dishes for the meal. Also, volunteers will oversee set up and clean up for this time. We welcome and encourage you to join the meal as well! We would enjoy getting to know you better. Angelica Village believes that through active community engagement you will receive what you give and there is no better way than enjoying the fellowship that a meal provides.
Volunteer(s) must be ready to serve between 10 - 30 individuals giving on the day.
Typically, we feed 10 - 15 members on Thursdays and 20 - 30 members on Saturdays.
Meal hosts are welcome to cook food in our home at Angelica Village or may choose to bring it already prepared.
