Become a TUTOR:

Tutors must be at least 18 years of age and possess the ability to read and speak English fluently. All training and materials will be provided. This opportunity requires just a 1-2 hour per week commitment. No previous tutoring or teaching experience is required. You do not need to speak a second language. All tutoring takes place in a public place, usually the FDL Public Library. We match a learner with a tutor with the same availability. We ask our tutors and our learners for a one year commitment to provide sustainable learning and achievement.

As of March 2020, due to COVID-19, all tutoring is being done virtually via Zoom, Facetime, GoogleDuo, or something similar. Tutoring can be done from your home via a computer, smartphone or tablet.
Once the Fond du Lac Public Library and our office re-open, we will resume face to face tutoring sessions.
