Clearinghouse Mentors connecting with clients providing hope, help & hand up to freedom.

We are looking for Intake Volunteers whose primary focus is to interview people who are facing a time of financial and personal hardship. The intake information serves as the basis for developing an action plan toward poverty alleviation and long term solutions. The volunteer also provides Helping Resources for any urgent needs identified during the interview.

Someone who is well-suited for this role is kind, nonjudgmental, can set boundaries and provide encouragement, especially in times of difficulty. Our volunteers also offer prayer, a Bible to anyone without one, and a Daily Bread devotional for encouragement, as well as emotional and spiritual support.

*Office hours: M-5:30 pm - 8 pm, Tues-Wed or Thurs 10:30 am - 2pm.
