HOST Volunteers are conveniently stationed at the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport Visitor information Booths in Terminals A & B. Each booth is conveniently located near baggage claim. Our HOST Volunteers are available seven (7)days a week from 8am-9pm working 3 hour shifts providing information (i.e. transportation, flight schedule, events, map directions, dining suggestions etc.) for both visitors and residents alike. Each volunteer will work a minimum of 9 hours per month. HOST Volunteers will also act as greeters by roaming the baggage claim area and assisting travelers. As HOST Volunteers, we represent our organization, also the City of San Jose. Our goal is to enhance the travelers stay by providing Excellent Customer Service which will inspire them to continue to make San Jose their destination of choice. Duties may vary as needed.
Orientations are held on weekdays and you must be available to do airport badging appointment during weekday hours of 7am-2:30pm.
