Are you patient with others, do you have experience with individuals living with learning disabilities, illiteracy or English as a second language? Can you be available for one to two hours per week to assist an individual who is developmentally disabled and blind with reading and processing mail and other written materials?
The Board of Education and Services for the Blind seeks volunteers with specialized skills and patience to assist any of three individuals who also have literacy, learning or other social services needs including an individual who is establishing a new life after emotional abuse.
