Team Up to Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors

Help frail or homebound seniors stay independent by delivering hot, nutritious meals made fresh each day. Serve as little as 2-5 hours a month, or more it’s up to you. Meals are delivered weekdays at 10:30 a.m. out of the Burnham Brook Community Center in Battle Creek. Delivery takes about 2 to 2.5 hours.

Caring and friendly volunteer drivers (drives the route) and hoppers (takes the meal to the door and provides a brief check of the person's well-being) in the Battle Creek area. Volunteer with your spouse, family member, neighbor, or friend, or meet someone new by being matched with another volunteer.

Volunteers enjoy free supplemental accident, excess auto liability and personal liability insurance while volunteering, annual volunteer event, and free membership in Rx Optical Vision Advantage Program.
