Project Details
It's true: you can help another person! Join us today!

What You Can Do: We could use volunteers to facilitate an on-going "Art Expression Group". This group encourages The Boulevard residents to create and express their ideas or emotions. Residents are encouraged to share their art at the end of the session, with possible discussion. The ideal volunteer for this group is an experienced art teacher or social worker interested in committing to a regular weekly class. What's needed is a friendly & encouraging personality; a patient, flexible and encouraging approach toward members of the group; and the ability to choose a date and follow through.

You would get to plan the projects and bring the supplies. We have a very limited number of art supplies onsite, but we can provide a tax exemption letter if you want to purchase and donate supplies.

What We Do: The Boulevard serves over 300 homeless adults annually, helping them recover from physical injury, illness, addiction or mental health issues. After they recover, we assist Residents in finding safe housing and an income if possible: our goal is to help every client leave the homeless experience, hopefully forever.
