MENTORING @ C4K

Mentors are matched with a C4K member and together create tech-centric projects. Learning partners meet once per week for at least one hour for nine months to one year.

C4K provides ongoing training and resources to ensure mentors have the skills and resources to support their learning partner.

Mentors focus on developing a relationship. Successful mentors understand the importance of establishing relationships based on respect and trust. Mentors are mutual learners; they sometimes lead, but they often follow, as they know it’s empowering for young people to teach others.

Learning partners have access to industry level hardware & software, video & audio suites, a makerspace, and an engineering lab.
