It is too late to join when the disaster has occurred. You must be trained and knowledgeable before it happens.We have an on-going need for volunteers. If you are interested in helping the community; we need you. Join now to receive training that will help before, during, and after disasters. Early membership gives the Board of Directors time to evaluate your performance. It also gives you time to learn the skills necessary for use in disasters. We are part of the Moore Emergency Management Team. In order to maintain that, you will be expected to learn NIMS and take courses in weather spotting. All free to us. You will learn traffic and crowd control. You will help other charities at their events, runs, walks, all while honing your skills. You will work with Police, Fire, Medical services throught-out the Metro area.
