Members need for the following Committees-in addition to our Board of Directors

Marketing/Development/Education/ Outreach

Help building relationships and raise money to meet our organization's special and or ongoing needs. Develop a year-round Fund Development plan with ED with strategies to achieve goals. Partner with staff to oversee a consistent and active communication strategy to all stakeholders for the purposes of program messaging, fundraising, awareness and branding. (Including social media e newsletter.)
To help with educational opportunities/ partnerships for our mission as well as advocacy/outreach to introduce us to the community that they have connections to. Helping us spread the work about our vital mobility program.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee-

As an organization that strives to enhance independence for persons with disabilities, equity is at center of our work. Because of this, over the past two years, AIM has made efforts and strides to embed a DEI lens in our organization, which has culminated in the creation of a standing DEI committee. The DEI committee will work to apply DEI principles and values to all aspects of AIM’s work - our program, website, bylaws, volunteer and board recruitment, among others.

Commitment-Once a month
