Volunteer opportunity for persons who are interested in working with Medicare beneficiaries and with those persons who will soon be entitled to Medicare benefits. Training from the Pa Department of Aging APPRISE Program is provided to persons who wish to become an APPRISE volunteer. Volunteers cannot have an active Insurance License. Counselors will be given training so that they are able to address questions about Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage, Pace/Pacenet benefits, Medical Assistance and Veterans Benefits. Counseling sessions are scheduled by appointment at the offices of Active Aging, Inc., Lew Davies Community Building, 1034 Park Ave., Meadville, Pa 16335 and at the offices of the Titusville Health and Aging Center, 714 E.
