Put your caring and compassionate side to work through volunteer service with Clarehouse! Whether you are currently a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), retired caregiver, looking for a career change or just willing to get hands on, Clarehouse's Care Assistant impacts guests, 24/7, through:

providing routine personal care as directed

offering a supportive presence to guests and their families, visitors

preparing/serving meals and properly storing foods

cleaning kitchen and community rooms as required

maintaining guests' bedrooms and shared bathrooms

document activities and interactions

report to immediate supervisor and Support Services Director any problems or inability to comply with care plans

perform other relevant duties as required

"On-the-job" training and skills to be learned/applied in supporting guests' care:

universal precautions and body mechanics

turning, repositioning

pericare

feeding

transfers

bathing

ambulatory assisting

housekeeping

laundry

cooking

interaction with guests, family members, other visitors

Requirements:

current Tulsa County Health Department Food Handler's permit

background check

compliance with policies (i.e. drug-screening and Support Services Team Agreement)

participation in orientation and ongoing learning
