Project Details
This photo was taken at our last mentoring service project at the anticruelty society. Together DJMC mentors and mentees made cat toys and dog beds and donated them to the shelter animals. This is just one of the fun activities we do as a group!

We currently have a wonderful opportunity for those looking to volunteer and make an impact in a young persons life. We are looking for volunteers to mentor a youth age 12 - 22 with a disability. The time commitment is 4-hours per month. We meet once a month as a group for 2-hours and once a month you would meet with your mentee for a one-on-one. Please contact the program manager, Mary Lee Ahern, DJMC Coordinator at 312-640-2119 or mahern@accessliving.org to set up an interview or for more information and if you have any questions!
