Project Details

Help At Your Door, a nonprofit serving seniors and individuals with disabilities, is in need of volunteer drivers throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. Help provide the keys to independence as a volunteer driver by transporting seniors to errands and appointments using your car.

Drive as little as two times per month or as often as you’d like. You choose the rides based on your own schedule and geographic area. Enjoy the companionship of seniors and the knowledge that you are providing an essential service.

Get started by attending this driver orientation/training session which will be held on Wednesday, July 18th from 1-2:30 p.m. Future training dates are available for individuals unable to attend this session.

We offer flexible scheduling, social interaction with a welcoming volunteer community, and most of all, hands-on activities that help the aging population and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their homes.
