At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), we're passionate about our mission: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We fulfill this mission every day by providing information, resources and support to those affected by blood cancers.

LLS Patient & Community Outreach volunteers help in so many ways: supporting patients, family members, healthcare professionals, our community; and always setting the standard for compassion and kindness. You can volunteer in your local chapter office, in the community, or from your home. Most roles require a commitment between 5 - 10 hours per month with a flexible schedule to fit your needs.

Join us as a volunteer, and join the cause that’s having the most impact on finding new ways to fight cancer - not someday, but today. Sign up here: www.lls.org/PAvolunteer.

Patient & Family Outreach Volunteer - Welcome newly diagnosed patients and their family members to LLS and provide them with local chapter resources: In most cases, you will be the first LLS representative a cancer patient or their family member talks to locally. You will be part of an important part of their cancer journey and provide much-needed support and resources.

Community Outreach Volunteer - Create and maintain relationships with LLS stakeholders with the goal of connecting every newly diagnosed blood cancer patient to LLS. Outreach is an integral step to help increase healthcare professional referrals and guide more blood cancer patients to LLS resources and services.

Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection Volunteer Coordinator - Administer a peer-to-peer support program which includes direct contact with patients and caregivers, volunteer management, database logging and follow-up. This important program for patients, caregivers and family members provides a positive experience in their cancer journey; an experience you get to be a part of.

Information Management Volunteer - Support Patient Access Volunteer Development through data entry of patient services information into LLS database system. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance database management experience within Salesforce. By entering accurate and consistent data, LLS is able to apply for grants and foundation assistance to provide better support to blood cancer patients.

Education Program Volunteer - Assisting with planning and implementing local blood cancer education programs, including event coordination, marketing of educational events, coordinating with community partners, adhering to LLS educational program guidelines and day of event coordination. This role has great opportunities to network and make professional contacts, have access to LLS events, and be part of a nationwide LLS community.
