Lifeline is looking for a Washingon State licesned massage therapist that would like to volunteer 3-5 hours a month to provide services to clients in our inpatient residential program. Our clients are work hard to overcome the disease of addiction and often have health/medical needs that would benefit from massage work.

Clients are in the inpatient program 21-30 days and then move to an outpatient program. The majority(60%) of clients are low income and therefore do not have access to massage services. The schedule is very flexible and can be designed to work around your schedule including nights and weekends. You will be required to pass a background check and particpate in a four hour orientation process that will focus on HIPPA and the strict confidentiality laws of CFR 42, which are laws specifically designed to protect persons involved in drug and alcohol treatement. Addication is a chronic diseas that requires chronic treatment. Our clients work hard every day to learn how to manage this disease and rebuild their lives.
