Urgent Need!

The Migrant Education Program is looking for volunteer tutors to serve the children of migrant workers throughout the state New Hampshire and especially in Manchester and Concord. Our students are between the ages of 3-21 and come from a variety of countries all around the world. Tutors work one-on-one with students helping with homework, English language skills as well as their math & reading skills.

Do you have a passion for educating and empowering disadvantaged youth? Do you want to improve in a second language and gain cross-cultural fluency? With unequal resources and other obstacles in their paths, migrant youth are liable to fall through the cracks of the educational system.

Volunteer tutors can make a huge impact on the lives of migrant workers and their children living in New Hampshire, giving them the tools and confidence they need to succeed at the same rate as their peers. Gain valuable experience as an educator and know that you are making a difference in children’s lives!
