Mission Statement

The mission: The Iowa Child Advocacy Board responsible for the CASA Program commisions community volunteers to serve as an effective voice in court for abused and neglected children, strengthening efforts to ensure that every child lives in a safe, permanent and nurturing home.

CASA Volunteers are making a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in the Juvenile Court and Child Welfare Systems. CASAs do independent investigations, monitor what the children's needs are, report to the court, and take the time to know the child. Our trained volunteers are committed individuals who stand up for children who cannot speak for themselves.

We serve Woodbury, Plymouth, Lyon, Sioux and Monona counties in Iowa.
